cant get client to work

hey guys im new to tagz, i was wondering if any of you guys can help me with my "problem". i just downloaded tagzpk v3, and when i try to "run" it, the little black boxes appears and yady yady yah. but, when the black box appears, it closes very quickly. any help?

did you extract the file?

you need to download winrar
then open the file with winrar and extract it

You need:
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
JRE 6 Update 12 - This is your java runtime environment kit. It allows you to run java-based programs.
If you get an error saying something like unknown command or something along the lines of that, you will also need JDK 6 Update 12 from the same page.

ye get newest version of java..might help alot and extract from winrar to desktop if u havnt

i cant dl clients why is that like this? if i try to dl V.3 then it say "invalid fail". what client i can dl because i realy want play that server.
